Read full reviewДЄ classic that still packs one hell of a punch! On average, you can find this game for about $12-15. At best, it's a good break from Gears of War 2 until you're ready to return to your rank in the COG Army.

Just don't expect too much from it and you won't be disappointed. If you're nostalgic for the Arcade Classic, go ahead and try this game. Time Attack Zombie Killing Parties are always the most fun. The best time to pull out this game is with a room full of friends. On the hardest and most challenging setting, the game is still quite easy to finish and will only take a few hours at most. Your only weapon is a shotgun with an endless supply of shells (no need to hunt for ammo). Light Guns don't work with the Xbox 360, so expect to use the thumb sticks to move your crosshairs around on the screen. After that, there isn' t much replay value. There are two game modes: Survivor and Time Attack and after playing through the entire game, you'll unlock House of The Dead 2. Rather they're more colorful and cartoonish. The graphics aren't realistic.but neither were the graphics in the Arcade version. This means that the game will point you in the direction you're supposed to go and move you along. Thankfully, this version is every bit as true to the Arcade original as it could be.and it's compatible with Xbox 360! It is a First Person Shooter but your characters are on a rail system much like Time Crisis or Area 51.

I bought this game because I remember so fondly dropping quarters into the arcade machine and playing this with my best friends. The game can either be played with a third-party light gun or the Xbox controller, and two-player simultaneous action is supported on the same screen.ДЇans of the Arcade Classic will love this game!

Fans of the series will be pleased to note the Dreamcast version of The House of the Dead 2 can also be unlocked for play, which comes with an additional set of bonus modes. A separate Time Attack mode offers a slight variation on the basic formula.Д®liminating zombies in this mode adds additional seconds to a time limit, while taking damage depletes it. Quickly shooting them down will earn players bonus lives, but failed attempts are not punished. These predicaments generally involve groups of zombies swarming around the partner. Gone are the hapless innocents of past games in the series, replaced instead by the character's partner, who must occasionally be saved from precarious situations. Instead, players must wait a few seconds as their character's onscreen hand automatically replenishes the shells by loading them into the barrel. For the first time in the series, an auto-reloading shotgun is the weapon of choice, which eliminates the need to shoot offscreen in order to reload. Taking place 20 years after the events in the second game, this third title has Lisa Rogan and Agent G investigating the disappearance of Lisa's father, who vanished while searching an abandoned industrial depot two weeks earlier.ДЄs before, the on-rails action involves blasting wave upon wave of undead abominations from a first-person viewpoint. Sega's zombie-blasting light gun series makes its Xbox debut with the exclusive release of The House of the Dead III.
